I often include crosswords into my lesson plans as this kind of activity helps students not only memorize the vocabulary but also learn spelling of important words in a fun way. Learning to spell words would have been boring without crossword puzzles. Therefore printable crossword worksheets have become an important ingredient of the syllabus I use to teach English to kids.
