Whenever I teach new English vocabulary to my students, I offer them some crossword puzzles to help kids memorize spelling of important words on the topic. Figuring out clues and writing them down on paper by hand is indeed good for long-term memory. So I have designed 20 printable crossword puzzles (including 4 for British English vocabulary) to help children easier memorize the spelling of more than 100 names of animals in English. These crossword worksheets belong to my printable kit dedicated to animals. Here are a few animal crosswords I’d like to share with fellow EFL and ESL teachers.
