This is another reading comprehension worksheet that belongs to my reading comprehension kit. The short reading passage is about a dragonfly named Drago:
Drago is a blue dragonfly. He has big transparent wings and loves to fly. He lives near a pond. His wings are strong, so Drago can fly very fast and far from his home. Drago has mosquitoes for dinner.
Whenever my elementary school students read this reading comprehension passage, I show them some of my flashcards to introduce new vocabulary related to animal body parts and animal homes. For this purpose I have designed 54 animal body parts flashcards and 42 animal homes & habitats flashcards. I also use colors flashcards and animal actions flashcards with this worksheet. All these and many other flashcards make a part of the printable reading comprehension kit.
