School Vocabulary Posters

My young students have returned to school this month after their long summer vacations. They are not native English speakers, so one of the first things we started to do in the classroom is trying to remember the important vocabulary related to school supplies, classroom objects and other school words we used to learn. There are new kids as well this year. And I start introducing the school-related words to them from the very first class.

To make it more fun for kids to memorize or recall the school vocabulary, I use my printable vocabulary posters. There are four of them featuring school supplies, school subjects, classroom objects and other relevant English vocabulary. Here is the list of 56 words featured on my school vocabulary posters.

Letter P Worksheets, Flash Cards, Coloring Pages

This blog post features printable resources dedicated to letter P. The majority of these printables have already been published on my blog. I combined them in one place to help my fellow educators find teaching materials to introduce this English letter to their students and hopefully discover more worksheets, flashcards, coloring pages, games and other resources designed by our team of two EFL teachers.

Indefinite Articles Worksheets: A or An?

Indefinite articles a and an are one of the first grammar concepts my young students learn about in my English classes. It’s not an easy concept for them to comprehend as their native language does not have articles at all. The need to use different articles depending on the first sound of the following word does not make the concept easier for my elementary school students. That’s why we have to pay a special attention to English articles and practice their usage. And to make it more fun, I have designed 15 printable worksheets to organize initial practice activities for the kids.

As usual, I used a lot of child-appealing pictures to design these a/an articles worksheets. Not only do they help students better understand the grammar concept and practice usage of indefinite articles, they also help them memorize some useful words and expand their English vocabulary.

Short A Sound Worksheets, Flashcards, Posters, Reading Comprehension

I have designed a lot of printable resources to teach English sounds to my young students. The growing number of phonics-related teaching materials makes it harder for visitors of this blog to find the entire range of printables they might want to use for their English classes too. So I decided to publish a series of posts dedicated to individual sounds that would combine relevant resources from different articles published on my blog earlier. I’d like to start with worksheets, flashcards, posters, reading comprehension passages designed to teach the short a sound to EFL and ESL students.

Vocabulary Posters for 20 Topics

My printable posters for each ABC letter proved to be popular with my young students, so I decided to also design English vocabulary posters to put on my classroom walls.
